If you feel like you are the Sensitive Skin type with the fear of skin break outs, here are some useful tips and solutions to address your skin concerns.
Tips & Solutions for Sensitive Skin Types.
We've all experienced one breakout that ruined the whole week. As someone with super sensitive skin, I always look for safe, tested products with clean ingredients.
Furthermore, I avoid high-functioning actives such as retinol and BHA. Of course, if it worked, it would be a lifesaver, but for people with sensitive skin, it would only worsen the condition and take forever to heal.
Here goes the Beauty tip.
As a person with a sensitive skin type, I would never do anything that could irritate my skin. So I prefer a bubbly, gentle cleanser with a low pH level.
Also, I always go for products without artificial colorants or fragrances. I know the chemical scent of the fragrance-free cleanser isn’t so pleasant, but for me, giving comfort to my skin is a priority- always better than stressed skin with breakouts or redness ;)
Pro-Balance Creamy Cleansing Foam is a gentle, but effective cleansing foam certified for its low irritation level and its suitability for sensitive skin. Secure your skin from unwanted irritations and enjoy a refreshing finish without the feeling of dryness after cleansing.
Also, I avoid any cleansing or skincare steps that involve any skin friction such as using cleansing tissues or cotton pads. So I usually take gentle cleansing balm and foam to wash off my make-up.
Be obsessed with soothing care to save your skin. For the sensitive skin type, remember that soothing comes first, hydration comes second, and avoid the adventures - trying high functioning active ingredients… because it won’t work for you…haha… (personally, I have tried high retinol content cream for 2 days and my skin broke out like crazy).
So look for skincare products with a short ingredient list and without artificial fragrances, colorants, or high functioning active ingredients. Also, safe active ingredients famous for their soothing and hydration effects such as cica or tea tree can be an effective solution to soothing the redness or acne.
Dr.Ceuracle's best seller,
